Purchase is expected to expand Micro Strategies’ data and analytics portfolio
Micro Strategies, Inc. (Micro Strategies) and TD SYNNEX Corporation (TD SYNNEX) today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Micro Strategies will acquire TD SYNNEX’s assets relating to its BSP Software business (BSP Software).
The acquisition is intended to add to Micro Strategies’ data and analytics portfolio. BSP Software, which assists organizations with the administration of their Cognos environments, is used by organizations worldwide.
Micro Strategies plans to translate BSP Software’s successful approach to addressing the administrative challenges of the Cognos platform to additional artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) platforms in the future. This comes in addition to being able to offer existing BSP Software customers access to Micro Strategies’ broad range of technology solutions.
Anthony Bongiovanni, CEO of Micro Strategies, called the deal another step in the company’s strategy as a focused technology company.
